BCTC ’08. Poured cloudy dull amber in color with a tan head. Aroma of cherries and some grassy notes. Tastes of semi tart, mettalic cherries that really drowns out the rest of the base. Alcohol present. I couldn’t drink all of this.

BCTC 2008, I wasn’t very impressed with this beer. Pours a hazy brownish/amber with a small tan head that left light lacing. I wasn’t getting a whole lot of cherry out of this aroma. Some dark fruits, toasted malt and earthiness. Flavor maybe some rotten cherries, light dark fruits, just not digging it.

[BCTC 08] Poured a hazy reddish brown color with a thin, light tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of light cherry, some caramel, dried fruits, some roastiness, and a touch of alcohol. Taste was god-awful! Notes of metal, some vomit, some cherry, and misplaced malts. I don’t know what happened to this one, but it was my least favorite from the fest Saturday.

Beer pours the color of hickory wood with smallish head, but no lacing. The aroma was that of mild cherries and vinegar. The flavor was dirty fruit, musty with a mild yet well complimenting sour cherry accent. Some lighter fruity apple notes emerged as I slowly sipped this one. Rich and smooth. Good stuff.

Draft at at stewarts... Dark in color, aroma of cherries. Taste is a nice touch of cherries to their abby hoffman but the alcohol is very present in the aftertaste. Also a little to tart for my liking. Medium texture. Overall a decent beer just not something I would go back for.
