GMCC2181 (358), Bear, Delaware, USA Jun 19, 2008 A kick ass brown ale, especially for stewarts! Brown in color, small head. Aroma was roasted malts. Flavor was light caramel, roasted malts, nittiness, light touch of hops and hint of chocolate. Medium texture, medium carbonation. Overall a awesome brown ale that I would go back and get! Best beer I have had to date from stewarts! Goodgrief (1018), Middletown, Delaware, USA Jun 16, 2008 Chestnut brown color, moderate head and lacing. Roasty aroma and roasty-toasty flavor with a noticeable nuttiness and just a tad of sweetness. Very little caramel malt to go with the roast and very little bitterness. Moderate carbonation made this a very drinkable beer. Not bad. DocLock (4085), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 29, 2007 This was the second of the brown seasonals from Stewart’s, and this one was heftier in palate and flavor complexity, with a big roasty brown aley malt and brown sugar/molasses flavor, plus a solid dose of almonds.
