Goodgrief (1018), Middletown, Delaware, USA Mar 10, 2008 Sept. 2007 - Light chestnut pour, clear with decent head and lacing. Almost no aroma at all even when my nose got foam in it. This was a rather dull offering which made me deeply regret not opting for something more tasty. Bland roasted malts with a slight fruity sweetness and a faintly bitter lager bite. Not much else to say. argo0 (6167), Washington DC, USA Oct 8, 2007 (KSq07, draft) Off-white head atop clear dark amber body. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, toasted caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel/toast, light smoke. Light-medium body. hopdog (4552), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 7, 2007 On tap at the KSBF ’07. Poured a deeper amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and toasted malts. Tastes of caramel, toffee, nutty, light chocolate and toasted malts. Ty5592 (1009), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2007 Draft. Clear caramel color with small lacing type head. Malty sweet caramel aroma and taste. Semi sweet nutty finish. DocLock (4085), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 1, 2005 Pours deep burny sienna with medium off-white head. Aroma is big corn flakes, roasty caramel malt, some toffee and hops. Reminds me of Fullers London Porter in aroma and appearance. Tastes caramel malty, with big almonds, some toffee and hops greet you at the finish. Very complex, very dense in palate, and very delicious!
