Goodgrief (1020), Middletown, Delaware, USA Feb 10, 2008 Oct. 2006 - Can I have a little beer with my bourbon? Okay, the regular weizenbock was too sweet...this was amplified. I couldn’t taste much over the bourbon flavor...really hot mediciny alcohol flavor with a burn. I wish I could say it improved as it warmed.... I can’t believe it was ONLY 7.6%. Thank goodness it was in a small glass. This stuff ain’t for me. bfeldmann (966), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Nov 1, 2006 Ugh not want i wanted at all. Poured a dark amber color with okay head. Aroma was burbon like and wheat. Flavor not sure there was anything else to taste except the burbon and different alcohol flavor Not good not good at all. michael-pollack (1396), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 27, 2006 Draught at Brewery: Aroma of cough medicne, malts, dark choclate, grape, cherry, alcohol, and bourbon. No hop aroma. Poured nut brown (chestnut), with a small off-white head that diminished. Clear. Very sparkling. No lacing. Flavor of bourbon, alcohol, and a little coconut. Moderatly sweet. Full body. Short bourbon finish. Oily. Warms the throat. Overall, one of the better beers I had here.
