Commercial Description:
Our darkest ale is smooth and full-bodied with a roasty malt flavor and creamy texture enhanced by the addition of oatmeal. When carbonated and served with our nitrogen blend, this beer has the look and feel of a chocolate milkshake. Distinctive coffee, oatmeal and chocolate flavors dominate this staff favorite. A subtle hop finish rounds out this vision of perfection.

First of all, this one is smooth as silk. Dark pour with big nitro head. Aroma of roasty malt, chocoff, some prunes. Tastes roasty malty, with chocoff, and a smooth, rich mouthfeel. Very good.

Coffee, nutty, chocolate, creamy, frothy, rich and lingering palate. Very dark distinct color, the head has a tan coloration. Somewhat looses carbonation at the end of the glass, but still flavorful and pleasant. My first stout and definately not my last.

It’s a nitro stout, so it is thin bodied with a huge creamy head. Flavor is somewhat roasty with a slight hop bite. Smooth palate. But in the end, it’s basically a Guinness clone.

On tap at brewery: Nice black with a nice head, leaving brussels laces on the glass. Chocolate vanilla malt nose and taste. Roasted, medium long lasting.

Dark dark brown witha creamy tan head from a nitro tap - looks like Guinness. Very burnt roasted malt taste. Thin and quick profile with a dry bitter lingering aftertaste.

Black in color, excellent & soft creamy head that followed the beer all the way down the glass, rich roasted flavors, rich in chocolate flavors, also roasted flavors very much present in this very good stout
