Commercial Description:
Our IPA utilizes a high hopping rate to produce a floral aroma and high bitterness. This pale colored ale is malty yet crisp, due to the high mineral content of the water used. This beer is served unfiltered, which leaves the flavor intact.

On tap-@ the brewpub. Poured a light golden amber/orange color w/a very slight white head. Very weak hop flavor for an IPA, particularly since they were calling it overly hopped. Had some hop flavor to it, but nothing special. Had some pine & citrus as well; somewhat sweet toffee/caramel flavor. Short hop finish; again, nothing special.

Not overly impressive within the IPA world, but a nice beer to drink. Poured an amber color with moderate head and ok lacing. Aroma was piney with light citrus. Flavor was pretty balanced for an IPA between malt and hops. Pine, citrus and grass came through in the flavor. Carbonation was low and the mouthfeel of moderate body.

Poured a dark golden color with a thin, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, caramel malts, and light pine. Taste of citrus fruits, grassy hops, toffee malts, and a faint, bitter finish.

Subdued orange blossom hop nose with some underlying toasty malt character and a vague overall sweetness. Opaque, cloudy pale orange-copper-golden coloured body is topped by a low white head that diminishes rapidly to ring. Bitterness is strong and up front but short-lived with earthy, orange, floral flavours and tired toasty malts that are lightly sweet in sweet in character. Medium light body with strong carbonation and dry texture. Sampled on the PA trip 2005.

The Lure:
Faded oranges traded for honey malt sweetness. Unassuming overall, with earthy hop coveralls.

The Festivities:
Sweet orangey fruitiness transformed into chalky, potent bitterness. Energetic carbonation works well with the flavors, but nothing melds in the end.

Transcendence:
An assembly line component.

Diminishing off-white head crowns over the cloudy amber-orange body. Peach and pineapple juice flavoured earthy hops is not very menacing up the nostrils, but well rounded by a fair dose of toasty, cerealic and bready pale malts. Light-medium bodied, mineral, big bubbled heavy carbonation. Maybe a bit too effervescent and oriented toward dullish orangey hops, but it’s conveniently dry, bitter and straightforward.

Copper pour with aroma of hops, some black pepper and floral fruitiness. Tastes hoppy, with finishing fruit and florals. Well balanced.
