Commercial Description:
This traditional Bavarian-style Bock is a strong amber lager. Complex malt flavors dominate the tawny brew, uncommonly smooth due to a full six weeks of cold conditioning. This dangerously smooth beer was brewed with yeast imported from the Andechs brewery, a Benedictine monastery that has been brewing on the same site since the Middle Ages.

On tap at stewarts. Light red in color. Taste is sweet and malty, maybe a little cinnamon and spicy. To be honest not that good nor bad....... Just to one dimensional for me

Pour from a growler received as a Xmas present from the boss. A few days passed from receipt to opening, so I will take that under consideration. Pour was brown with honey color around the edges. Rich sweet bread aroma. The flavor was really bready with a lot of sweet malty goodness. Not overly sweet, though, with a just enough of a touch of bitterness to make this drinkable. A little flat in the mouthfeel, probably because my cold made me unable to drink this as fresh as I would have liked. 3 pints went down on Christmas eve to kill the pain of my experience of wrapping presents...and had me feeling very jolly! Ho ho ho!
