Jan 9, 2008 Was my third favorite "national" beer while in Austria. Nothing exceptional. Slightly sweet but drinks easy and nice. No aftertaste. A good pilsner. Will drink again.

Dec 24, 2007 33cl bottle. Clear gold with a creamy white head. Light saazy aroma with a hint of honey as well. Flavor has a nice moderate malt sweetness followed by a medium bitter ending with a spicy hop flavor. Clean, light, lingering bitterness. Not a lot of interesting qualities, but nothing.

Dec 21, 2007 12oz bottle part of "beer of world" variety pack.. normal pilsner coloration with same typical santa’s beard white head.. bitter and without consequence the aroma is faint, nothing jumps out at me besides the carbination.. decent pilsner, i will admit it goes down smooth.. and definitely better than most pilsners

Dec 7, 2007 Have to say this is a normal pilsener. Not different in any way. It is refreshing, to a certain degree, and is very drinkable, well made, and slightly crisp.

Dec 5, 2007 Canned. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is brady and slightly rubbery with malt coming in. Flavour is Saaz and some quite sweet malts. A straight-on brew, but not very special.

Dec 5, 2007 Do pilseners have aromas?
This is hands down my favorite pilsener. Sure there are many close seconds, but this is the standard by which I judge all others. Unfortunately it was only imported by the Glunz family in Chicago. Now that I am in AZ, I cannot drink this anymore.
However, my first stop whenever I am back in CHI is to the Glunz Bavarian Haus for a couple liters of my golden goddess!

Nov 30, 2007 Can. Pours a clear golden color with a longlasting white head. Fruity malty aroma with some grassy hoppy hints. Sweet malty slightly grassy flavor with some fruity hints. Sweetish malty finish with some fruity grassy finish. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.
