Brassy gold color with a fine white head. Not too thin bodied, firm carbonation, that renders the body somewhat creamy as it leaves. Starts with light clean malt, followed by a flash of hot spice(?), and the hop is always present. Dry, crisp finish, with perhaps a touch of fruit for a moment. Definitely good. mnurda (437), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Rated 1/20/07: 16.9 oz Bottle poured into my pils glass producing a medium straw color with a thick white head and sticky, sticky lacing. Lively carbonation this ones good to look at. Light malty aroma, slightly sharp some bittering hops thrown in. Crisp and refreshing, this bites the palate ever so slightly. Flavor is very well balanced, there’s a light peppery taste to round out the crisp malt, nicely hopped. Nice pilsener. Tmoney99 (4800), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2007 Bottle from the Root Cellar. Poured a straw color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Heavy hoppy grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium hoppy flavor with a medium bitter dry finish. This beer met my expectations. JohnBarleycorn (394), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2007 Appearance is your standard medium gold. Big malt nose, especially for a lager, plus cereal grain and grass. Smooth palate, with a creamy maltiness and a nice bitter-hop finish. Not a mind-blowing brew, but put together well with quality ingredients. Driftwood6 (214), USA

Had a hint of the Saaz hops, but not as big as other Czech pils. Might make a nice conversion beer for your Bud/Miller/Coors buddies. RobBestwick (555), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England
