Sweet hoppy aroma, very light body somewhat wattery. Finish is sweet and light bitter. An average pilsener. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 20, 2006 Pale yellow, thick white head. Mostly a malt aroma, without much of a hint of hops. Light body, with a bit of a corn taste. More refreshing than I anticipated, given the garish can.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 11, 2006 Bottle. Pours light yellow with a slight haziness. Head is pure white. Sweetish aroma with dryish hop and hay notes. Flavour is sweetish and bitter with some hops and a sharp note of something undefineable which feels slightly cloying. Finish is dryish and has slight notes of perfume and flowers. 11-07-06. wxman (594), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2006 Pours a very pale gold (as pale as Bud!) almost clear. White frothy head that recedes; has a very corny aroma to the exclusion of everything else. Taste is crisp, clean, refreshing and slightly hoppy. All in all, very uninspiring. A standard Euro pils. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 25, 2006 Hmm. We really overvalue these Euro pilseners, don’t we? There’s nothing much to this but light grass and citrus taste, and it’s not particularly well done at that. Cool glass, I guess. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 30, 2006 (500 ml bottle: $2.99 at Hollingshead Deli in Orange, CA) There’s no telling how old this bottle is (what does "L00016" mean anyway?), but I suspect some things sit on the shelf at Hollingshead for a long, long time, and the cardboard in this beer is telling me this bottle did some sitting. I’ll try to overlook the mild cardboard flavor with this beer and focus instead on the crisp, bitter, lemony, spicy hops that quickly sends the cardboard apackin’ moments after each sip. Unfortunately, I just don’t think I’m liking how the hops taste in this beer. Mild breadiness in the finish is also a bit disappointing from what should be a clean pilsener. Body is light but not watery, with solid carbonation. Pale golden in color with a very slight haze. The white head rises to about an inch on the pour before fading to a wide ring. A few small patches of lace remain on the glass. Despite a few flaws, this beer still could have been decent had I liked the hop flavor, so I’m not sure if I’d enjoy this more if it were a fresher sample. oldrtybastrd (1846), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
