Couleur blonde dorée, faible mousse pleinement diminuante. Canette, LCBO Ottawa, Mai 2005.

A pretty good euro pils, had a bit of a bite, but not enough! Not bad, I’d drink it in Austria, but won’t seek it out.

Crystal clear, very light yellow with a massive head. Starchy aroma with a tight corn-malt aroma; bit of saaz character, but primarily a brisk malt. Standard Europils.

Fairly decent, light and dry. Had this in a cozy little bar off a hot plaza in Salzburg. Cute waitress that served it to me, who also spoke English. Ace.

For the longest time I have seen this sitting on the shelf and I have wanted to take the plunge and buy it and try it. Well. I am glad that I had it in a tasting that cost the same as the cost of the beer. ITs a pills, there is nothing else I have to say about it.

500 mL can. Clear, bright gold colour with a small frothy head. Fresh, grassy aroma. Sweet flavour, some cider notes, with a dry, Saaz hop finish. A little heavy for the style, but the flavour is nicely balanced.

Pale golden colour with a frothy thick, lasting white head. Grassy and Barn feel. Saaz comes with a clean pale malt. Nice sweet malt up front with a bitter apple cider lingering flavour. A nice Pils!

Lightly chilled. Great fresh Saaz aroma. Excellent head retention and lacing. Could be slightly richer in color. Flavor is nicely hoppy with a light honey suckle sweetness. Finishes nicely. Held up very well even when only lightly chilled. This would be a great everyday pils.
