Canette, LCBO Ottawa, Mai 2005. Saarlander (1583), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

Starchy aroma with a tight corn-malt aroma; bit of saaz character, but primarily a brisk malt. Standard Europils. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Cute waitress that served it to me, who also spoke English. Ace. SubstanceT (1090), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

Well. I am glad that I had it in a tasting that cost the same as the cost of the beer. ITs a pills, there is nothing else I have to say about it. GregClow (2515), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 1, 2005 500 mL can. Clear, bright gold colour with a small frothy head. Fresh, grassy aroma. Sweet flavour, some cider notes, with a dry, Saaz hop finish. A little heavy for the style, but the flavour is nicely balanced. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2005 Pale golden colour with a frothy thick, lasting white head. Grassy and Barn feel. Saaz comes with a clean pale malt. Nice sweet malt up front with a bitter apple cider lingering flavour. A nice Pils! green (187), Boston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2005 Lightly chilled. Great fresh Saaz aroma. Excellent head retention and lacing. Could be slightly richer in color. Flavor is nicely hoppy with a light honey suckle sweetness. Finishes nicely. Held up very well even when only lightly chilled. This would be a great everyday pils.
