Light to medium bodied, good hop malt balance with a lemony bitterness, zesty, nice pils. ohknaks (44), USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 2, 2004 12 oz bottle: Pours literally clear in the glass, its only redeaming feature is the large foamy white head. Tastes closer to water than real beer. The bottle design makes a smooth poor impossible. Overall not a great beer. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 20, 2004 Appearance: clear, nigh-unto-transparent color, a very palish shade of yellow, nearly not a color at all, redeemed by a booming, fluffy creamy white head.
Aroma: soft and shy, but showing significant hops, spare, but spicy.
Taste: rather light on the buds, a fairly flat flavor at first that grows on me over time. Light body, but my ever-renewing appreciation for the crisp, shiny pils character makes up for that. I find it lip-smackingly tasty before too long, then it comes cross as tinny and thin at the end.
Still, a very decent middle-of-the road pils, when that’s what you yearn for.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 29, 2004 An orange and yellow haze settled into my glass. This has the strangest sediment and gelatin type junk floating that I have ever seen. Very unattractive. Has a very small head that forms as the copious amounts of bubbles quickly race to the top. The aroma is sharp mint and some lemons. I think that is the unique saaz hops. Intriguing aroma. The taste is fairly full for the style. It has grass, tobacco and a touch of a mint bite. Maybe I am the only one seeing the bite of mint, but it kees me interested. As it warms, it gets more sour. This started out great, but finishes with a cheap colby cheese flavor. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2004 Straw gold, big head. Nose light and hoppy. Malts are mildly sweet, some berry fruitiness, a bit overly hoppy at the end for my tastes. SG (456), San Clemente, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 11, 2004 The saaz are very noticable on this one. Solid, refreshing, and slightly boring. A nice session beer for a hot afternoon. 100% better when had in Salzburg. bkelley68 (467), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 26, 2004 Bright clear/yellow with a touch of head for about 10 seconds. Grassy hops in the nose along with a touch of skunk. Pretty light and crispy, with a touch of malt and a little bit of those grassy hops. Short crisp finish. Quite average, but not offensive.
