From BevMo this $299 500 ml bottle poured a golden color with white head and moderate lacing. Nose of caramel malts and some floral hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is mild and the finish is lightly bitter.

Light golden in color with a tall head that reduces rather slowly. Mild aromatics are brisk. Medium nectar with ample residual effers. Crisp and clean with and old world disposition. The finish is bittered well.

Golden colored brew. Sweet, grassy aroma. Flavor is crips and malty. A bit grassy and bitter.

My Bottom Line:
Crisp cereals and distant wooden hops cannot help but feel diluted in this fizzy and rather generic Pilsener for the masses.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A nice head of foam garnishes the clear golden.
-A little hop bitterness is felt.
-The aroma is quite shallow.
-All in all, this remains very drinkable if not boring. The sliced white bread of the beer world.

On tap at a restaurant in Salzburg.

Has a noticeable, crisp bitterness to it that seems to set it apart a bit from other national lagers. Sparkling, refreshing. Other than that you pretty much know what to expect.

On tap at St. Veronus. As expected, cheap swill. As the new replacement for Stella, I did not expect a world of wonders, but it should satisfy the light lager fans. Think Stella, a bit more complex, slightly sweeter, and there you are.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of the floormanager at West Brewing. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Crisp malty and hopy bitter aroma with a light grassy note. Bitter and grassy base flavour with a distinct malty note and solid bitterness. Dry and bitter finish.
