Pours deep mahogany brown with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, light citric, some banana and a little roasted. High carbonation, a bit thin. Flavour is weak, some caramel - thankfully not too sweet. But still dull. Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jul 2, 2008 bottle. Cloudy brwon colour, big beige head. Medium-bodied, slightly malty with hints of caramel and banana. Light in flavour, could be more intensive. Not bad, but a bit thin. Tranquillity (1030), Espoo, Finland Jun 27, 2008 Bottled. Dark woody brown, thick beige head. Aroma full of roasted banana, bbq almost. Spicy taste, long finish and the texture is sparkling - very enjoyable indeed although the taste could be a bit stronger. faroeviking (4134), Faroese Beer Republic über, Denmark Apr 17, 2008 Botella. Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a nice big creamy off white well lasting head leaving a good sticky lacing. Sweet wehaty, caramel and toasty maltiness in the aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is a bit sweet with wheat, caramel, toasted malt, some bitterness and a god fruitiness (mainly banana).
