LilKem (1169), Marietta, Ohio, USA Mar 25, 2007 one of their better beers (mind you this rating is from a year ago so maybe it’s gotten better. don’t hate). ok, light brown with thin white head. a lot of roasted malt and nutty flavors with some honey. Arnie (272), Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA Jul 21, 2006 On tap at brewry. Hints of fresh baked bread, on the sweet side. Would make an excellent beer bread, but not overly memorabe for drinking. gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jun 6, 2006 Had this one on draught in Geneva, Illinois. Light brown, clear pour, with a thin, filmy head. Nose of caramel and flowers, and, while it was a bit sweeter, this didn’t have much besides baked bread with a little pecan in it. Meh. Cornfield (4255), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 2, 2006 This poured a very light brown, almost clear, and had a faintly malty nose with only a touch of honeyed sweetness. The flavor was thin, a light malt with some nuttiness and a weird sour finish that stuck in the back of my throat until I could get some water to wash it down.

RAYBOY01 (1622), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 30, 2006 A bit too thin and timid for my taste. I detected only slight honey notes and some very mild nuttiness. There was also slightly astringent note in the finish that seemed out of place.
