gws57 (990), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA May 16, 2007 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Geneva, Illinois. Clear, dark brown pour, served with a lemon. Very unusual wheat beer, and despite the fact that it had a very alcoholic, unbalanced finish, it was really good. I wouldn’t mind having more of these. LilKem (1169), Marietta, Ohio, USA Mar 25, 2007 muddy brown with nonexistent head. some lemon and wheat and very very thin texture. Cornfield (4263), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 2, 2006 Thin and watery, not "creamy" as described by the brewpub. Not much aroma, and in the flavor there’s a soft malt with a light wheat tartness, followed by the brewer’s signature crabapple finish.

RAYBOY01 (1623), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 30, 2006 I’d like to see more oomph in these beers. The textures seem a bit thin and insubstantial. Flavors are somewhat timid and ephemeral...instead of lingering. This one has hints of roasted malt, but just not enough of it for my taste. 21iceman40 (1671), north little rock, Arkansas, USA Jan 2, 2006 a light murkey brown color. the aroma is of freshly cut grass. I got a ricey malt flavor from it with a slight bit of roast. not bad, i could sit down and drop a few of these.
