LilKem (1169), Marietta, Ohio, USA Mar 25, 2007 dark goldenrod with some lemon and orange with a little clove and some weird garlicy ranch flavor. Arnie (272), Chicagoland, IL, Illinois, USA Jul 21, 2006 On tap at brewey. Cute name, light in color, decent head. Spicy/peppery nose. Crisp to start, but taste doesn’t last. gws57 (995), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Jun 6, 2006 Had this one on draught in Geneva, Illinois. Light orange pour with a thick white head. Ground black pepper in the nose, along with clove and orange. Taste starts strong and peters out VERY quickly. Meh. RAYBOY01 (1627), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 1, 2006 Some cut grass and citrus notes on top of a light caramel base. Again a little timidly flavored and too thin-bodied. The brewer told me a new beer, a porter, is coming out in mid February, and, ever the optomist, I will be back to see if this first "dark" beer is any more robust (and to give the pilsener a rerate, after pointing out the infected state of their current keg) 21iceman40 (1671), north little rock, Arkansas, USA Jan 2, 2006 a very transparent dark yet dull golden color. Very heavy wheat vibe in the aroma and in the body. Not a bad beer at all, a session beer, but not bad.
