Commercial Description:
Stone & Wood Pale Lager has a sparkling light colour, and a flavour that strikes a fine balance between its subtle hop aroma and full malt palate with a soft clean finish.

Low carbonation over a light yellow colour. Sudsy with some metallic back bite in the end. A little like the Boags of old in its sweetness.

Disappointed after the Ale, which is quite a good drop. Bland boring, and whilst not offensive, has few redeeming qualities. As Hawthorn said - Just another pale lager.

Bottle. Yellow with a small white head. Caramel and cereal malt nose with some hints of hops. Medium ongoing carbonation. Fairly sweet and thin. Hardly and bitterness. Sweet and somewhat metallic finish. Just another pale lager.

Draught at Australian Beer Festival, Sydney. Very pale looking lager, small head. Hint of hops on the nose. Full sort of body, decent carbonation. Not a great deal of flavour, some floral sort of hops on the finish, slight metallic note in there. Not particularly great.

The good: the aroma is nicely honeyish. The bad: flavour is light malt; it feels thin and dry. The ugly: yellow colour with no head.

Clear pale gold body with short white head. Sweet malts on the aroma and in the taste, soft carbonation and not a lot of bitterness. A couple of stubbies went down easy enough and probably could drink even more as it was pretty simple and had nothing filling it out but I think the price might be a bit too high for most punters.
