Nose is intensely bready and malty with a note of something exotic--coconut maybe. Interesting... Wow. I really don’t know what to make of this stuff. It’s very unique, I will give the boys at Stone that. Slightly citric, wheaty and fruity with a strange sort of vague bitterness that dances across the tongue. Confusing. A beautiful golden-colored ale with an aroma of bread and citrus, like walking through a lime orchard about 30 yards from an open window, through which wafts the aroma of fresh-baked bread. The mouth feel is mellow, malty and pleasantly yeasty, with a faint flavor of lime from the Kaffir that gradually increases in intensity, peaks at a pleasant, not overpowering level, then fades right behind the malt. I am fortunate to have a small liquor store nearby that has a stash that it seems only I know about.... Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 26, 2004 Bottle. REMARKABLY mellow and yet subtle, complex, and flavorful. Unique for the style, and it’s even guezelike in some ways. Somewhat tame floral aroma. Yeasty, barnyard, sweetness abound throughout. The bountiful finish yields nice nectarine type flavors...great stuff. Ungstrup (15343), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 21, 2004 A hazy orange beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruits especially lime, but also lemongrass. The flavor is sweet spicy with notes of lemongrass. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 19, 2004 Orange colored, foamy white head. Sweet hay, hop, yeast and toffee aroma. Dry and rather harsh flavor. Grass, hay and plenty of hops. All right but quite sexless for a Stone!! madsberg (5047), Søborg, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2004 Bottled: Golden coloured. Off white head. Light spiced sweet and malty aroma. Fruity, light citric, light hopped and malty flavour. Is a little bland I think. Ends with some alcahol burnt on the palate and lips and is medium bitter. Dixen (1465), Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
