Aromas of fresh mangos, vanilla, and ripe bananas. Very fruity with lots of esters. A little too much phenolic flavors as well. Very tasty for such a youn belgian style but I’m sure itwill only get better. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2004 Amber body with off-white frothy head. Aroma has touches of yeast, citrus, and a pinch of smoke. A little oily in the mouth. Flavor has some citrus and some sweetness. Missed the 02.02.02 and 03.03.03 but will start saving a bottle a year. If I make it to 12.12.12. FezMonkey (268), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2004 Pours a yellow/gold with minimal head. Hoppy aroma that led to a flowery mouthfeel. Some malt hides in the background but now quite enough for a good balance. Finishes with citrus flavors flowing through your mouth. Steib (581), Queen Creek, Arizona, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2004 Light golden color. Aroma is a potent mix of ginger, cloves and assorted fruits. Semi-strong Abv. Very sweet, ginger is overbearing at least that’s what I’m tasting. The flavor reminds me of a mandarin hefe, in which I’m not to fond of. Dry, spicy hops dominate the finish. Not one of their best offerings. Will have it again when I have an upset stomach. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Distinct Stone hoppiness in the nose; tastes of strong hops and light malt. A good offering from Stone, but not one of their best. A good beer, but not great. zathrus13 (1314), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2004 Pours golden, with an aroma lemon and cloves.
More fullbodied than I expected, with citrus, malt and banana tastes.
Seems more like a weizen than a belgian strong.
