Pours out a dark brown color with a nice tan head. Aroma is very malty and yeasty. Flavoe is very much the same. i was a little suprised at the amount of maltyness that was present in this brew. This is a nice brew.

A very good take on the style. Poured with very little head, looked almost identical to coca cola minus the effervescence. A bit on the yeasty / alcohol side at the nose....this leveled out as it warmed. Nice full bodied taste with a well rounded finish. Very smooth yet bold somehow.....nice.

bomber from Saarlander in a trade from a loooooong time ago, shared with illini08. poured a very dark brown with a tan head and decent retentive lacing. aroma had some mild yeasty-roastiness to it with some clove. flavor was some chocolate roast, clove, mild spice and subtle hints of dark fruit. a well made beer that has aged nicely.

22 oz bottle: Deep mohogany brown w/a lasting light beige head. Very hefe weizen like in the aroma at first. Clove spice w/ light vanilla and banana esters. Hints of roast and chocolate. Light wheat malt aroma. Well balanced @ first but bitter in the finish. Chocolatey w/a light roasted flavor, some floral hop, and peppery yeast. Wheat malt flavored finish, dry, and light herbal hop, but the aftertaste is peppery yeast and roasty. Low esters for the most part in the flavor. Some light banana, but that’s about it. Higher medium carbonation, smooth, well hidden alcohol. Not quite sure what this is supposed to be, I know what the label says, but it’s more dunkel hefeweizen like than Belgian. Still a decent enough beer, but I think it’s having an identity crisis! Bitterness is also a bit high for my liking.

A dark brown from a 22 oz bomber. The beer smell great and is interesting. I can smell cloves, but I had a hard time picking out individual smells and tastes (maybe due to the fact it is 1.5 years old). Definitely fruity, and it was a very sweet beer. I think I like it more now then when I first had it a while ago.

Deep mahogany with a huge mocha head. Aroma is malty and faint. Flavor is full with only a mild hoppiness. Notes of clove and coriander. Very rich with decent alcohol warmth in the dry finish.

22 oz. brown bomber bottle. Poured out a deep brown color, with red highlights. Thin, mocha colored head. Aromas are of roasted malts, choholate candy, earthy hops. Flavors are of roasted malts, dried fruit, chocolate, & coffee notes too. Medium mouthfeel, rich & thick body. Finished slightly sweet & roasty.
