| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2008 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours clear orange with a fully gone head. Mild spiced and wineous aroma. Holds a mild initial spice note in the flavour but is otherwise dominated by a smooth and light fruity flavour. Remains this way into a finish that winous fruity. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2008 Dull ruddy amber with no head. Well, Stone isn’t always a slick production I guess. Sugary aroma mixes 7-Up, red wine, wood, coriander and caramel. Not entirely cohesive. Sweet, sugary body with pleasant vinous notes and a yeasty, spicy accent. Dries into a relatively alcoholic finish. argo0 (6942), Washington DC, USA

The aroma is a restrained marriage of tangy, woodsy and grainy notes. Full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and feather-soft carbonation. Perfect mingling of tanginess, sweetness and very light bitterness. Maybe a touch of caramel. The short finish provides quick glimpses of fruit and acidity. Tasty! | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Draught Reddish colour, no head. This is mind-blowing! Red fruit, red wine, berries and fruitjuices, super beer, complexely layered as an onion. Tart taste, fruit with oranges, strawberries, light-red eating grapes, cranberries, and very discreet hops and vanilla. Light to medium bodied (!) impression, acidburn. This is absolutely stunning - wow! - especially the nose. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Orange-copper color, medium cloudiness, small white head. Big, thick, musty fusel nose, some soap, some stinging chemicals… strange. I guess that’s the wine character in the aroma… it actually shows up well on the back of the palate… up front it’s semi-sweet fruity, soapy of coarse, but the wine barrel tannins explode on the back, quickly drying, but still somewhat metallic and soap-heavy. Sweet and messy, no surprise, that’s how the 07 was.
