| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 27, 2008 The first pour was a clear gold with a small, pure white head. My first reaction was very smooth followed by a pleasant malt-fruit-spice experience that was slightly sweet. The head faded quickly. It is 11/08 now and the hops seemed to have faded, but hey this brew was meant for aging. A Belgian that is true to style. By the last pour the brew was cloudy and there was sediment in the bottom of the glass. blipp (1716), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear orange with some sediment at the end of the bottle and an off white head. The aroma has doughy/bready malt, peach like fruit, and yeast. The flavor has bready malt and spices, with some fruity sweetness, relatively low bitterness and a dry yeasty finish. Very nice. sebletitje (1986), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours orange, white head.
Aroma is sugary
Taste reminds me a lot of a good Belgian triple with light saison undertones. Plenty of nice yeasty flavors and spices. TheJester (717), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2008 650 mL bottle. Translucent orange with a thin head and lots of sediment. Strong, distinctively Belgian aroma with sharp citrus, spice (ginger), and yeast. Taste is aggressive, with more citrus, green apple, alcohol, spice and sweet malt. Some alcohol at the end, with a bitter finish. Dry and quite full. danielcurtis81 (909), San Diego, California, USA

Re-sampled 9/19/09. Lots of Belgium yest and candy sugar, coriander, black pepper. Still drinking nicely. Wonder if that sweetness will just get more intense? chadje (130), Pasadena, California, USA
