Goes down very easily for the high alcohol. A minimal dry bitter finish. Akin to a dry white wine in some ways. Not something I would want every day, but a nice deviation on the road to beervana jcdsmack (88), Henderson, Nevada, USA

Deep gold in color nice aroma of fruity malt dried apricot nice malt aroma. Tastes resemble a well crafted belgian ale but with a stronger hop profile than a typical Belgian, Citrus annd fresh grass on the hop aroma not much bite Awaiting maturation for final review. livelaughlovep (96), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 11, 2009 I am so deeply sorry this is limited because I just about died drinking it. its almost a Belgian, hoppy like an ipa, even after a year of storing it, and its just fabulous. Bitter, esters, fruit, citrus and pine perfume, but not at all choking or cloying, it calls you in for sip after sip. I think I polished off the whole bomber in less than 20minutes. Strong flavors of floral hops, grass, banana, citrus, & bread dough. Has a little bite to it, but not in a bad way. Very dry, should only get better w/age. long dry finish. zapprentice (312), East Setauket, New York, USA

Nine month tasting was even better. Should age well. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 30, 2009 I’ve had this before and was shocked that I haven’t rated it. Pours a lighter amber color with a white head. I get citrus hops right away on the aroma with some lemon, spices, and yeast. Flavor is a nice blend of banana, lemon, citrus hops, cloves, and yeast. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Pours a gold-orange with a large head. Aroma is of citrus and spice; A little weaker aroma than expected. Flavor is boozy, fruity, and then boozy again, with room for little else. I was hoping for more hop bitterness. Palate is slightly oily, with low carbonation, thin overall. I’m sorry but this is so overhyped. Not bad, but just not the messianic figure that it’s made out to be. My humble opinion. Overall, fair to good.
