| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Bottle from Crown#6, in vertical with 07, and 09, shared with the Bros. Pours crystal clear pale golden with elegant rising bubbles and minimal white head. Nose is dry citrus belgian yeast. Flavor is strong belgian yeast with some orange and lemon. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Poured a pale orange with a thin white head. Aroma is very nice, with a lot of fruitiness along with grassy and earthy hop. Apple and pearlike aromas were most noticable to me. Flavor is spicy yeast, a bit of the aforementioned fruitiness, and a lot of alcohol. The alcohol seemed too harsh for the flavors to me. It seemed to drown out a lot of the better things I was expecting from the aroma. I didn’t care for this one nearly as much as I did for 09.09.09.
