Pours deep dark brown with thin mocha head. The aroma is full of big inviting dark chocolate notes pulling me toward the glass. I also get layers of toffee, roasted malts and a bit of caramel. Solid. The taste is nearly the same with thick rich dark chocolate that has that bit of velvetiness to it. It then moves into molasses, toffee, smooth roasted malts and a sense of coffee toward the finish. Yummmmmy.

Shared a bomber with DTM and my bro. Poured a dark brown almost black with a tan head. Strong smell of chocolate. Nice full malt flavor to go with a great palate.

A nice but typical imperial stout. Aroma was nice and chocolaty but a not as full as most. pour was a perfect deep dark black with a 2 finger tan head. Taste was a good mix of chocolate and roasted bitter malt. Slight hints of coffee. Almost tastes like those dark chocolate covered coffee beans. Decent carbonation and hides the alcohol well. It is good, just typical.

Pours black with frothy tan head. Aroma of cocoa, and dark fruits. Taste is bitter chocolate and roasted malt. Silky smooth going down. Very good brew.

This poured black in color with a moderate brown head of fine bubbles. Aromas were of dark chocolate, fudge, vanilla and oatmeal. In the mouth this is medium-bodied and concentrated with a bunch of chocolate and coffee in the midpalate which fades to a bitter finish.

bottle from columbus. damn, i guess my rating from yesterday didnt get saved. so i have to do it again. it was pitch dark and thick, thin dark brown head with nice lacing. smelled like chocolate, nuts and vanilla. flavor was weird, at times chalky but usually very creamy. smooth, thick. hides the alcohol really well. great beer.

Very smooth and delicous...just goes way too quickly! one of the easiest drinking heavy beers Ive had the pleasure to try. Reasonably bitter chocolate taste that slides down the throat. Would age well I think

Bomber shared with Timfoolery and Wessidemc. Poured a dark brown almost black with a tan head. Strong smell of cocoa. Tasted of bitter chocolate and roasted malt. Excellant on the palate. A great beer on a cold winter night. Cant wait to try my second bottle.
