Not quite as intense as their Imperial Stout, but very well-done. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Lots of dark chocolate on the taste with some coffee and roasted malt. Dangerously drinkable - I feel like I could down a gallon of this stuff (but would regret it as it came back up). Really smooth and fairly full palate. LtDan (512), LA - Originally from South NJ!, California, USA

Bold cherry taste that is much stronger than the chocolate notes (although it might have partially come from the chocolate). A fantastic beer from a company that knows how to make imperial stouts. I think this one needs to sit for a while as the alcohol flavor takes away from the greatness. JaBier (1223), Capital City, Ohio, USA

Aroma is of chocolate, malt and oatmeal. You get a taste of alcohol up front, followed by a smooth coffee and chocolate finish. Tastes pretty much the same as it does out of the bottle. Heard some opinions that it would be much better aged. Testing that theory, but definitely drinkable now. v8powered (61), , Nevada, USA

I was suprised to find out that there was even hops in here since the bitter chocolate flavor overpowers any hoppy bitterness. The beer has nice carbonation, mellow on the palate. Very smooth and silky. The flavor stays with you for a bit and is very satisfying. I enjoyed this beer very much and look forward to how it will mature over the next year.... if I can wait that long. sigma23 (235), , Maine, USA

The color is a dark black with a brownish head and some nice lacing that hangs to the class.
The smell is dark chocolate like a Mr. Goodbar, has a bit of a nutty flavor with some oat feel.
The taste is bitter, some dark hop flavor with some dark chocolate flavor. This has a nice creamy feel that coats over some nice oat hints. Has a nice mix of flavor together, balancing all of these together with an easy mouthfeel, just nice.
This is just another nice Stone beer. Each beer I try I am floored by how good this beer is and each time I really enjoy each flavorful beer.
The feel of this beer is slightly heavy but really smooth. It has a nice drinkable flavor to it and it only gives off a slight sting to it while mixed in some nice creamy flavor.
