Floral and citrus hops. Lots of grass too. Big beer. Hops bite you throughout the beer but there is just enough malt to make this a real treat. Stone does it right...yet again! bryandhargrave (165), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Another excellent brew from Stone. Huge hop aroma, grapefruit rind and rose petals. Big hops in the flavor too but they don’t overpower it and it remains very well balanced with just a hint of sweetness. Great stuff mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Deep reddish brown color. Thick and creamy tan colored head that hangs on forever. Pine resin, grapefruit skin nose. Taste begins with Earthy hops, slightly sweet malt, warm alcohol, and big bitterness on the end. Above average palate that holds the flavor for a long time. I had really hyped this one in my head before trying it. It’s great but I think I over-hyped it a bit. ScottyP (314), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
