Commercial Description:
A Super Special Pale Ale. Amber-ish/dark orange color, quite hoppy with a fruity aroma and upfront flavor. There is a hop-bitterness sting on the tongue at first with noticeable malt reminiscent of a sweet pastry, more fruity hop flavors linger and blend into a toasty-malty balance that comes through in the finish. This full bodied ale is placed nicely on the high side of the scale.

This is a strange brew. No head. Chestnut bworn. Apricot aroma. Flavour is dominated by apricots and peaches. Quite malty and sweet finish.

[Sampled 1 and 1½ years old] An amber beer with a disappearing, but lacing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with alcohol being most dominant, but also lesser notes of fruit - especially peach - and wood. The flavor contains notes of anise, wood, fruit - just on the edge of being over ripe, as well as cinnamon. And in the background the alcohol gives you warmth and it ends up giving a slight burn.

Bottled: Amber coloured. Clear. Dark beige head. Flowery, fruity and malty aroma. Quite distinct. Full hoppy and fruity flavour. Some cocoa notes. Full bodied and balanced. Crisp and spiced. Ends on a nice bitterness. Good one. Thanks egajdzis for trading.

Tea and caramel nose. With some mild hop resin. Biscuity and swett up front with good mouthfeel and low carbonation. Slight oxidation and some minor madeira notes. Metallic finish with mild bitterness.
