Commercial Description:
A Super Special Pale Ale. Amber-ish/dark orange color, quite hoppy with a fruity aroma and upfront flavor. There is a hop-bitterness sting on the tongue at first with noticeable malt reminiscent of a sweet pastry, more fruity hop flavors linger and blend into a toasty-malty balance that comes through in the finish. This full bodied ale is placed nicely on the high side of the scale.

(Bottle) Pours an amber-brown with an average-sized off-white head. Unexpected aroma of chocolate after-dinner mints and mustiness. Flavor of dried fruit, corriander, candy, sweet malt, and mild hops. A little thin, but punched full of flavor. Thanks for sharing Nuffield!

[22 oz. bottle] Poured a creamy amber color with a thin but lasting white head. Strong sweet and caramel aroma with a hint of hops and earth notes. Good initial malt taste that gives way quickly to a surprisingly sweet hoppy backbone with citrus notes and a smooth, sweet malt finish. Very nicely blended with a slightly bitter finish.

Poured amber with a thin tan head...definately smelled caramel and alcohol...very smooth and sweet in the mouth, but a little watery given everything that was going on with this beer...got the hops in the finish with the bitterness, along with alcohol...

Iced tea color. Hazy, deep brown. Soft mouthfeel. Sweet and hoppy. ABV is not overly apparent.

Wow. Large nose with malts, hops, and alcohol. Beautiful orange/brown cloudy color. Flavor is of, guess, hops! This smells like an APA and tastes like an IIPA. Nice malt backbone to give it more weight than a ruination. Crisp, nearly fruity, aftertaste with a malt/alcohol lingering. Impressive.

Murky orange in color. It has a sweet malt and floral nose that is almost bready. Good head and some lacing. Strong orange/citrus bitterness up frount with some lingering op bite. Chalky and dry finish.
