| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Nice hops on the nose, good copper color with average head. Flavors of citrus, (IPA style), big and over the top. Great balance with the malt. I love the creamy finish. Stone always has a great texture to their beers. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Big hoppy aroma. Copper, wearing a medium sized cream head. Hoppy citrus flavour, with some malt following close behind. Quite dry, medium bodied. Really nice example. Thanks Kimchee. boto (1344), Granby, Connecticut, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Bottle: The beer is an almost clear, copper color. There was a little bit of a white head, which dissapated quickly. Minimal lacing. The aroma has a blend of pine and citrus hop aroma. As with all their beers, there is a big blast of hops to the taste, without being overdone. A fairly good balance of the hops, with some malts in the background. Still, it isn't quite up to some of their other brews. Better than most, but I wanted maybe a little more. frylock (1025), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Redish, orange amber color. Big buttery hoppy aroma. Strong flavor of sticky hops, some toasty malts in the background. Alcohol is noticeable. Very enjoyable. Oakes (8114), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Orangey-amber colour. Chewy smelling - very Stone - with too much crystal/dark malt character. Woody, toasty, citrus-hoppy palate with caramel and a slight bit of alcohol. jgb9348 (2513), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2003 Copper colour with a thin white head. Strong hoppy aroma with a bit of alcohol and some pears. Medium to Heavy-bodied; Sweet taste with a mild fruit flavour and some complex spiceyness noticeable. Overall, decent but really not the best APA i've had. I had this bottle at the Winter Party at Oakes' place in Toronto, Canada on 05-December-2003. Many thanks go out to KimChee for bringing this one to the party as it turned out to be one of the best from the show! jerc (3950), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2003 Powerful barley wine like aroma, gorgeously thick sweet malty aroma enchants and lures you in only to have the disappoint like the stunning girl next door who turns out to have implants. Just doesn't live up to the aroma. Good beer but not great.
