Poured a cloudy pale orange with no head. Sweet orange nose. Nice orange flavors with some lite hoppy bitterness. Very smooth and warm in belly. IMHO a little past its prime but great potential inside it! BrotherGrendel (599), San Diego, California, USA

Appearance is amazing, cloudy light orange hue, off-white dense and creamy head sustains, big thick lacing all over
Smell is solid with subtle pine hops with a sugar coating, some apples and pears come through, very sweet overall
Taste is subtle hops and sweet malts, transitions to some grassy and earthy tones, finishes mild with slight alcohol, underwhelming flavors mostly
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, creamy smooth texture, moderate carbonation
Drinkability is low to fair, I found the flavors to be lacking and muted, with not much to get excited about, the 7th may have had some unfair competition at the Storm, so I would be willing to try it again for a re-evaluation

It was me and my brothers favorite of the day and we tried nearly all of them. Huge creamy texture with roasted malts. It was so good, I wonder how I might have rated this upon release. kmweaver (2483), Sebastopol, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 9, 2008 From old tasting notes back when this one was fresh. Sampled from a 22 oz bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large tan head. The aroma was strong sweetish fruity hops. The flavor was all about the fruity hops but with an underlying harshness that put me off a bit. Very one dimensional and this one did not really stand out to me. yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark
