Commercial Description:
A Super Special Pale Ale. Amber-ish/dark orange color, quite hoppy with a fruity aroma and upfront flavor. There is a hop-bitterness sting on the tongue at first with noticeable malt reminiscent of a sweet pastry, more fruity hop flavors linger and blend into a toasty-malty balance that comes through in the finish. This full bodied ale is placed nicely on the high side of the scale.

Draft at the Bistro. Pours a semi-hazy dark orange color, with a small off white head. Smells pretty malty, with some sweet dark fruits in the background. The flavor was also quite sweet, with good doses of cinnamon spice making an appearance. Some hops and candy sugar were noticeable as well. Pretty decent for its age still. Not mind blowing, but not too bad.

On tap at Stone Bistro for RBSG 08. Gold-amber color with a small white head. Aromas of oxidized hops, overripe apple, and caramel. Light caramel flavor with a lingering tannic finish as the once-prominent hops struggle against age. Sticky/dirty palate.

On tap at Stone. Pours a dark caramel red color, with a fizzy white head and minimal lacing. Sweet caramel malt nose, tea, and slight oxidation. Not too bad though. Flavor is pretty much caramel and some very slight citrus, with some remnants of hops. Soft body, medium sized. Sticks to mouth, and has a slightly bitter finish. Obviously would’ve been better fresh.

On tap at Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens. Pours cloudy amber orange with no real head. Sweet aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor is spicy and citrusy with a nice under-layer of hops and alcohol. A good beer, but nothing that memorable.

RBSG on tap. Light amber color with not a lot of aroma. Has a lively, fun flavor; fruity and crisp.

I figured this beer would be dead, luckily I was wrong. Orange pour with a small head. Ligh hop, caramel, and candied sugar aroma. Flavor was similar with some orange hops and other fruity citrus. Finishes slightly watery with medium carbonation.

Peach colored with an off-white head, little retention and lacing. Smell is of apricots, peaches, flowers, and biscuits. Taste is of peaches, apricots, tangerine, orange rind, and some sweet malt. Medium carbonation and lighter than medium body. This beer has held up much better than I imagined it would. Would love to try it again.
