Pours with a small, off-white head covering a hazy amber body. aroma of hops, fruits, sweet berries and caramel. Taste is caramel, hops, some coconut, and a touch of diacetyl butteriness. Mouthfeel is heavy and thick. FROTHINGSLOSH (1513), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 9, 2008 From old tasting notes back when this one was fresh. Sampled from a 22 oz bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large tan head. The aroma was strong sweetish fruity hops. The flavor was all about the fruity hops but with an underlying harshness that put me off a bit. Very one dimensional and this one did not really stand out to me. yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours hazy orange with a creamy and slight orange coloured head. Dense hoppy and caramel smooth aroma. Light breadish in the inital flavour with a dense hoppy presence. Caramel and mild hoppy finish as the caramel slowly takes over.
