Commercial Description:
A Super Special Pale Ale. Amber-ish/dark orange color, quite hoppy with a fruity aroma and upfront flavor. There is a hop-bitterness sting on the tongue at first with noticeable malt reminiscent of a sweet pastry, more fruity hop flavors linger and blend into a toasty-malty balance that comes through in the finish. This full bodied ale is placed nicely on the high side of the scale.

I figured this beer would be dead, luckily I was wrong. Orange pour with a small head. Ligh hop, caramel, and candied sugar aroma. Flavor was similar with some orange hops and other fruity citrus. Finishes slightly watery with medium carbonation.

22oz bottle, courtesy of wetherel. Thanks, John! Pours a bright, clear orange-amber color; light-tan head with glistening, fine-bubbled lacing. Lots of dried caramel oxidation, dried oranges in the aroma; oxidized, dense, and aromatic. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: dried caramel, some spiciness, and dense yeastiness and dried fruits; very oxidized, dense, and flavorful. Lengthy finish: dried fruits, toasty malts, spice, and toastiness.

Courtesy of kmweaver. Mostly clear amber body with a small white head. The nose is caramel, pine and citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter with grapefruit and pine hops, tons of caramel/crystal malt, ice tea and light raisins. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation and a slight astringency.

On tap. Pours with a small, off-white head covering a hazy amber body. aroma of hops, fruits, sweet berries and caramel. Taste is caramel, hops, some coconut, and a touch of diacetyl butteriness. Mouthfeel is heavy and thick.

From old tasting notes back when this one was fresh. Sampled from a 22 oz bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with a large tan head. The aroma was strong sweetish fruity hops. The flavor was all about the fruity hops but with an underlying harshness that put me off a bit. Very one dimensional and this one did not really stand out to me.

From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours hazy orange with a creamy and slight orange coloured head. Dense hoppy and caramel smooth aroma. Light breadish in the inital flavour with a dense hoppy presence. Caramel and mild hoppy finish as the caramel slowly takes over.
