Aroma is loaded with pine and citrus hops with earthy, musty notes.. The flavor is grapefruit and citrus, good amount of sweet maltiness. Finish is long bitter and dry. This is good stuff. hippie4beer (162), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

The aroma is a bit more pronounced and the hops aren’t as dominating as they were originally. A nice sweetness is now present that was lacking before. I’m not sure how much better this beer can get, drink it now.
Gold color with a good sized white head. Very little aroma, what there is if of pine. I’m not usually one who likes wheat beers (though in some senses this beer is almost a cross between a wheat beer and an IPA), yet as usual... Stone is able to pull off one that I like. yespr (12406), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 7, 2008 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours hazy to cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Mild fruity hops aroma. Flavour is grapefruity and smooth, not as sharp as this normally gets. Good balance to the malt too. Smooth and refreshing hoppy finish. wheninhell (486), louisville, Kentucky, USA

Alcohol is noticeable, but not overly so. A good brew. Manetsdad (12), USA

However, there is something not quite right with this one. Up front, there are all the right hop aromas but something doesn’t meld perfectly with the flavors. It is still a good beer and I appreciate the creativity, but I wish it went together a bit better.
