| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Aroma is primarily bourbon. Lots of bourbon in the taste. Is this think aged in bourbon barrels? Despite the huge bourbon it’s very well blended and pretty decent overall. scraff (1954), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 29, 2009 Draft – Frisco’s. Deeply hazed amber orange, thin creamy white head. Intense citric bourbon and oaked vanilla toffee aromas ride waves of boozy dark fruit from start to finish. Deep brown sugared hop flavors up front warm to a citric vanilla wood note at mid-ground. Rich rum raisin undercurrents blend effortlessly before the all mighty hops bring this beast back full circle. Thick bodied and smooth, soft carbonation, boozy, bittersweet finish. This was powerful in every sense of the word…and I loved every sip of it! This one needs a bottling one day…
