From a 22 oz bottle it poured a cloudy gold with a big foamy white head and very sticky lacing rings. Nose is citrus hops backed by some spicy notes. Smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is complex with bitterness from the hops mixed with some fruit flavors that I assume come from the yeast. Lightly bitter finish. Very easy to drink. yobdoog (1431), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2009 Clear golden yellow with a fluffy head. Aroma is bright and citrusy hops with some sweetness. Taste is very pleasant. Bright, clean, crisp with citrus and faint pine hops. Slightly earthy with a nice body too. Doesn’t linger with any bad flavors. PKPMarine (32), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2009 Tried this one from a growler fresh from the brewery. Pours very effervescent and hazy, almost like a weiss beer. The head fades quickly leaving a clear amber color with medium tan head. Spicy hops with some hints of pepper and citrus. Slightly sweet from the fruit notes and the caramel from the malt. I actually like it a little better than the highly rated Stone IPA. The Belgian yeast gives it an interesting depth of flavor that I find rather intriguing. jimhilt (1676), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2009 Pours a one finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit nose. Flavor is grapefruit, malts are in the background, lingering bitter aftertaste that won’t go away. Overpriced at $7.99 for a 22oz bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT. Pwn3d (1063), Manhattan, New York, USA

Then caramel.. Slowly other things creep up that I don’t know if I was entirely happy with. Grows earthy, mild and slightly soapy? Not very belgian, or atleast not integrated entirely well. However, I applaud the concept of it. 3.15 marcus (1853), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2009 This golden ale poured with a massive beige head and a fruity aroma. The flavor is spiced caramel malt with a yeast feeling to it. This is a decent IPA, but it’s a bit too sweet and slightly soapy. RCL (1472), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2009 Aroma comes out very fruity, with the yellow stone fruit from the Belgian yeast harmonizing with citrus from the hops. Flavor is very slightly off dry with a lightly astringent hop finish. OK. alraicercsu (166), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA
