| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2008 A great and different beer. Im not too big on this whole "Belgian style IPA" thing, but this is good. Aroma was fantastic. Strong citrus and pine hops. Very full. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger off white head. Taste was very hoppy in the front. Grapefruit, pine and bitter until the sweet light fruit aftertaste comes in from the Belgian yeast. Ive been a homebrewer for about 4 months now and this beer shows me how big a difference a yeast strain can make in a beer. By the aroma I would think this was going to be a huge hop bomb. It starts out that was, but quickly brings in apricot and peach flavors . Nice and different. As it warms there is a big battle of bitter and sweet with the sweet overpowering. darn1207 (560), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a nice tan head. Aroma is citrusy, with some lemon and light grapefruit as well as some hops. Seems like a mix between a Belgian and an IPA. Spicy notes as well. Sweet taste. Not much of a hops presence for an IPA. Some citrus notes as well as some pepper spice as well. Interesting beer idea from Stone. but I like it. leaparsons (4725), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

Flavours are yeast and citrus with sweet apricot. Some melon with spices. Warming alcohol on the finish. Good. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops with some caramel malts. Flavor is strong of citrus and pine hops with a hint of bubblegum and a little alcohol. The bubblegum flavor from the yeast is an interesting blend with the citrus and pine hops. Not a typical IPA but the belgium yeast makes this very interesting.
