On tap at Stone Cellar brewpub. Hazy dark brown with thin off-white head. Aroma of toffee, sweet malt, caramel, fruit, alcohol and mild hops. Taste of caramel, alcohol, caramel and fruit and has some vegetal qualities. Body is a bit grainy, but overall pretty good.

Aroma of some fruit, malt, and alcohol. Flavor is very malty with some slight citrus and caramel character. I think I tasted some raisins as well. Pretty alcoholic after kick. Good brew. May buy again.

On tap at the brewpub. The body is deep, dark amber and hazy. The aroma was sweet caramel with some apples and pancakes. The taste was bananas dipped in caramel. Very sweet with some molasses notes. A little bit of alcohol burn.

On draught at the brewpub in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy rusty-colored amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and an off-white ring. Aroma of some dry caramel malt, a touch of raisin, dark pitted fruits and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is medium bodied, very little carbonation with flavors of tart brown sugar, a touch of apple, raisin, dry caramel malt, and light citrus zest. Finish is slightly metallic, mild bitterness that lingers around after the finish with some light aftertaste of raisin, brown sugar and dark berries.

Aroma of white rasins, plums, caramel, floral hops. Appears a crystal clear deep copper color with a small yellow head that dissipates quickly. Sharp acidic flavor of berries and plums, much too fruity, with an sharp acific hop bite and finishing very boozy. Palate is medium and appropriate. Overall, a bit less than the sum of its parts, due to an extremely unbalanced flavor.

see through copper amber with a thin grey head. served a bit cold, but i’ve got the time to let it adjust. plummy sweet nose with a bit of yellow cake. very boozy flavor. brown sugar and honey taste. very F-ing sweet. a bit cloying but it’s all good. watermelon syrup finish. sweet plum throughout. sticky yet my tongue is dry after each drink. a bit of pepper here- tabasco pepperish, not black pepperish- spicey caramelized brown sugar taste. a nice B.W.
