Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. This was Stone Cellar’s special tapping at 3 pm and sold out in six minutes. Pours a semi-clear dark golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates nearly clean. Aroma of sweet Door County cherries, multi-grain caramel and crystal malt with a touch of flowery hops. Taste has an intense cherry character that overpowers most other malted grain flavors. Ophm-Da! Medium to full bodied, very light carbonation with a sweet cherries profile. Finish just kept the cherries going including a little alcohol warmth in the finish. I have to try this during the cherry harvest next fall in Northeastern Wisconsin.
