Nuffield (2718), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Aug 31, 2009 Hazy yellow/orange with white head. Smooth body, very silky. Dusty aroma. Thin, quick finishing and somewhat wheaty flavor. Served with an orange wedge--it needed a whole orange to really make this one better. On tap at brewpub. gws57 (1131), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Mar 3, 2009 Hazy, medium yellow pour with a fainy, fruity nose, a bit sweeter and a bit more wheaty than the alder Brau, lemongrass, with a soft finish. Pretty weak example of a wheat ale. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jul 7, 2008 On tap at Stone Cellar brewpub. Golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of corn, wheat and honey. Thin and watery body that tastes of corn, honey and sweet malts. Houdini deserved a better beer named after him. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 1, 2008 Pours bright orange-golden colour. Decent white head. It definately had a prevalent honey taste, but not very much wheat flavor. Aroma was sweet of honey, grain and sugar. IlanMan (816), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA May 21, 2008 A pretty wimpy honey wheat. Pour is light golden with fizzy white head. Aroma of honey and wheat. Flavor has a strong bite of wheat with only a hint of honey. Brew is really light with not a lot happening. Won’t buy again. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA May 5, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. The body is cloudy gold. The aroma is light banana and clove. There is a little bit of light banna with hints of clove in the flavor. A nice finish with some bread crust. Smooth. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 06/24/2007
