Pours a clear golden caramel brew with a thick off-white head that dissolves to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of tropical fruit, wheat, banana esters, and a touch of honey. Taste is smooth, medium body with a touch of apple and honey flavors. Finish is dry and leaving a slight honey aftertaste. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

Clear oily gold with very little head, what little there is diminishes quickly....nose is pretty indistinct, the light beer had more to it, but a whiff of honey is possible if you try....sweet, floral honey is quite evident in the mouth, some nice sourdough-bready malts at midpalate help to overcome general wateriness at the front and by the end it feels quite full as a light sourness shows up....rather strong but natural-seeming carbonation. Bananas, grapefruit, guava, pomegranate, clover honey, lime and sour butter in the aroma. Rather interesting aroma. Flavors are fairly light and moderately refreshing. Light apple and peach flavors in the front. Some yogurt and bleu cheese flavors with a dry honey kick in the middle and finish. Lightly sweet finish which reminds me of a sparkling mead. Seems the funkiness of AdlerBrau continues. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2006 On tap at the Brewpub. Poured a hazy medium golden with a light white head. Aroma was of wheat and bananas, with hints of orange and honey. Flavor was much like the aroma, but a little stronger... enjoyed the honey toward the backend. Decent mouthfeel.. a little grainy.. nothing special or memorable. Decent brew. Brigadier (1257), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

Light wheaty flavor that immediately fades away completely dry. Very thin without an aftertaste. Pretty solid for a wheat beer. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Almost bone dry taste. Flavor is pretty spot on with something like 9-grain wheat bread. First sip made me recoil, but upon further review, it’s actually tasty enough. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
