Commercial Description:
An American style wheat beer made with pure Wisconsin honey. Served hefe style (unfiltered) which means it will appear cloudy. A yeasty tone layered with a honey sweetness makes this a refreshingly light brew. 1.046 OG, 11.6 IBUs.

On tap at the sone Cellar Brewpub. Poured a light to medium and cloudy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, bananas, and honey (all on the softer side). Tastes follow with the wheat coming through a little more in the tastes.

Golden color with a off white diminished head. Bananas, grapefruit, guava, pomegranate, clover honey, lime and sour butter in the aroma. Rather interesting aroma. Flavors are fairly light and moderately refreshing. Light apple and peach flavors in the front. Some yogurt and bleu cheese flavors with a dry honey kick in the middle and finish. Lightly sweet finish which reminds me of a sparkling mead. Seems the funkiness of AdlerBrau continues.

Draught sample at the brewpub, early October 2006. Clear oily gold with very little head, what little there is diminishes quickly....nose is pretty indistinct, the light beer had more to it, but a whiff of honey is possible if you try....sweet, floral honey is quite evident in the mouth, some nice sourdough-bready malts at midpalate help to overcome general wateriness at the front and by the end it feels quite full as a light sourness shows up....rather strong but natural-seeming carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. The body is cloudy gold. The aroma is light banana and clove. There is a little bit of light banna with hints of clove in the flavor. A nice finish with some bread crust. Smooth.

Picked up single 12-oz bottle from brewpub. Pours a clear golden caramel brew with a thick off-white head that dissolves to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of tropical fruit, wheat, banana esters, and a touch of honey. Taste is smooth, medium body with a touch of apple and honey flavors. Finish is dry and leaving a slight honey aftertaste.

On tap at the Brewpub. Poured a hazy medium golden with a light white head. Aroma was of wheat and bananas, with hints of orange and honey. Flavor was much like the aroma, but a little stronger... enjoyed the honey toward the backend. Decent mouthfeel.. a little grainy.. nothing special or memorable. Decent brew.

Hazy gold color with a thin and bubbly head. Dry honey, apple, and wheat aroma. Almost bone dry taste. Flavor is pretty spot on with something like 9-grain wheat bread. First sip made me recoil, but upon further review, it’s actually tasty enough.
