| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2006 More of a slight citrus feel than most IPAs. Undertones of lemon, orange and grapefruit zest, hops are not too strong and definitely lean on the light or high pitched side. Very little dissonance from bitters. Sells like crazy in my college area for obviously reasons... FROTHINGSLOSH (2019), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Updated: Aug 27, 2007This beer came to me in my beer club - I am not familiar with the brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy dark golden color with a medium sized yellow-tan head. The aroma is sweet fruity and piney hops with a hint of pepper. The flavor is sweet and spicy grapefruit and pine. There is a weird tangy off flavor in the finish that detracts. rudolf (1775), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 5, 2006 Bottle, thanks to Bobby. Nose is dougy fruity pebbles. Flavor is lemon, fruity pebbles, light malt. Strongly bitter finish. Odd hop combo. seeknay36 (109), Port Jefferson Station, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Bottle. A bit on the orange color (not to repeat what others have said) side with a small head. Lite bitterness flavor with a bit of fruit in the aroma and taste. Bit on the water side, try it if it is bought for you. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2006 Buffy-orange body with a clean, sudsy white head. Aroma of lemony hops and light must. Flavor has citric C-hop signatures with a light tropical fruit element. Malt character is like sweet tea with subtle cardboard notes. Medium-high bitterness and some coarseness in the finish. Some light cattiness (think cat box) lingers. A decent IPA overall though.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy copper in color with thin, lingering head. orange, citrus aroma. Clean, smooth finish. Distinctive as an IPA but not as hoppy as rest of breed. Could (and will) see myself drinking more than one . . . tonight Cappadonna (104), Delray Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Pours hazy orange-copper with small white head. Sweet bready aroma- not nearly as hoppy as I would expect for an IPA. The hops sure come through on the flavor, though. Balanced but quickly turns bitter and finishes that way. Not a wimpy IPA. Palate is drinkable. WhiteSoxFan (152), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 31, 2006 12 oz. bottle from BOTMC. Drank on 7/31/06. Slightly cloudy. Light orange / copper color. 1" creamy white head. Drops very slowly - thick foam and very good lacing. Aroma - not too strong. Big orange / citrus. Hint of sweetness. Flavor - Lower up front bitterness. Pretty balanced and smooth on the tongue. Solid malt backbone. Some citrus and sweetness in the finish. Not a ton of hop flavor for an IPA. Palate - solid medium. Lower than avg. carb. Good for this beer. Overall - good beer. I’d probably call it an APA more than an IPA, but good. Good body and good flavor, but not overly bitter or hoppy like I expect in an IPA. Tasty though, I’d buy it for sure.
