| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2008 Bottle from Yankee Spirits in Attaboro, MA. Pours a murky dark amber with a thick light beige head. Aroma of sugary malts, fruity ale esters, and leafy hops. Medium bodies with an earthy mouthfeel. This has a British like caramel toffee backbone that is countered by a very sharp, aggressive grapefruit and pine hoppiness. Finish is dry, herbal, and somewhat soapy, which clings to the palate. Decent, but the hop profile is a little rough around the edges for me. jerc (3945), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2008 2008-05-31. <Dark amber lightly orange body with a tiny beige head. Muted aroma, muddled resiny hops, green leafy notes. (7+) Pleasant modest resin in the flavour, light bitterness throughout, lingering light muddled resiny hops. Average plus palate. (3+). Decent but fails to live up to its full potential, the resiny hops lack the depth or complexity to step it up a notch. Enjoyable nonetheless. Bottle, Post-Mondial Tasting, Montreal

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Floral, leafy, citrusy hoppiness proliferates within the frail caramel maltiness until resinous bitterness claims the back of the tongue. This full frontal hop nudity should be exciting for those in dire need of a hoppy encounter.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the misty amber.
-The body’s relative thinness makes the hoppiness a tad too brash.
-The aromatic hoppiness gets soapy at times.
-Alcohol is not tasted much, which is fun.
-The citrusy hoppiness is often orangey.
-The hop signature is obviously not your typical Double IPA’s, which is appreciated.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 2, 2008 Uh, not so good here. Was I drinking a science lab experiment for IPA’s? This is alright, but for what I was expecting, no, not at all. There are many better dubs out there. jimbowood (956), Athens, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2008 bottle. Drainpour. Tons of plastic in the flavor. Not good. Too old? No noticable hop presence. LooseCannon (936), Norfolk, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 15, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber in color with full foamy off white head. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a thick silky off white head. Aroma is very hoppy, flowery, orange zest. Taste is hoppy but a little too bitter. Palate is a bit thin and dry for an imperial IPA.
