Poured a clear very dark brown color with a beige head. Smooth mild roasted malt with a light fruitiness and light alcohol nose. the flavor was lightly fruity with a light roast and mild-moderate bitterness. there was some warmth. Light to medium bodied.

Shared, thanks to joemcphee. Brown pour with reddish hint. Aroma is roasted caramel malt, chocolate, and dishwater. Flavor is sweet malt and caramel at first, but then it turns to some sort of bitter earthy malt that I didn’t really like. Thin body.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing this - dark brown, slightly red beer, with a tiny ring of foam - the aroma is pretty doughy, with some hints of chocolate-covered cherries - mildly chocolate flavor - quite yeasty, with cookie dough flavors and a touch of roast - decent.

Pitch black pour with a thin light brown head. Interesting aroma of black liquorice and roasted malt, sweetness is present also. Good flavor of roasted malt, liquorice, mild alcohol with lingering but not cloying sweetness. The body is medium with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. I’m not particulary fond of foreign stouts, but this one doesn’t get disgunstingly sweet.

(22oz bottle) Medium beige head atop dark brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, cocoa, some roast, earthy. Taste is medium sweet, roast, light cocoa, earthy, smoke/tar. Medium body, light stickiness.

Lightly roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma; slightly reserved; a hint of acidity. Medium mouthfeel: plenty of milk chocolate and creamy nougat and caramel upfront; dense, chewy maltiness, without any overt sweetness showing through; a slightly lactic, creamy vanilla character throughout. Medium finish: chalky, creamy chocolate (some bitterness), and toasted malts.

Courtesy of argo0. Clear dark brown body with a small tan head. The nose is light sweet with roast, cola, caramel and light dark fruit. The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with chocolate, toffee, raisins and brown sugar. Medium body is slightly thin with moderate carbonation.

Objectively speaking: Roasty, but never dry, syrupy tropical stout.
I like: Smooth carbonation. Vanilla undertones. Lacy head. Liquorice complexity.
I dislike: Beany coffee grain notes. Syrupy palate.
