Commercial Description:
Evocative of the beautiful colors of a New England autumn, say World Series season, this beer is deep amber in color. It is lightly hopped and extremely enjoyable as a lingering roasted character finishes this medium-bodied lager. Raise a glass to America’s favorite past-time and New England’s favorite pitcher.

Pours brown with a thin tan head. Smells of sweet malt amd fruity. Tastes fruity with some nuttiness and a vegetal finish.

12oz bottle, courtesy of beerbill. Muddy reddish-brown in color, one finger head. Aroma has a yeasty/bready base, along with some sweet notes of caramel, and maybe a hint of spice. Actually a rather atypical aroma. Flavor does not diverge too much from aroma...yeast up front, the a rather surprising, unexpected bitterness (almost metallic in quality) with a sweeter finish of caramel, molasses, brown sugar. The weird bitterness brings this beer down a notch or two, but definitely drinkable.

(bottle, courtesy beerbill) Pours muddy light reddish/brown with an off-white head. The aroma is an odd amalgamation of cocoa, cherry, must, stale popcorn, and butter. The flavor has some faint chocolate, light cherry, with a toasty malt flavor changing to a quite dry finish. There is also an odd flavor right before the finish that I cannot describe. The mouthfeel is medium, and the carbonation is fairly high. Thanks Bill!

Pours a clear amber color with a thin off white head. The nose has some hints of nuts and earth tones. Initially the flavor is faint and has some traces of nuts and caramel malt with a mild hop spice. there is a mild linguire of flavor and the palate is a bit watery. The finish is decant bout could use some more malt and spice with some more carbonation.

(Bottle). Weird musty aroma. Reddish amber color, with a huge off white head. Disappearing mild malty flavor, and a soft drink finish. Not good.

On tap at brewpub in Bethel, Maine--Poured a light copper-amber body with a medium white head. Nutty, caramel nose with a malty, cereal cardboard presence. Pretty nondescript and boring brew that I could probably drink a load of, but why?
