Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit citrus and floral with more grass and earthy funk than most IPAs. Flavor is similar with more citrus and resin and a bit less grass and earth than I got on the aroma. Very light and dry on the palate. Not as amazing as I was expecting it might be, but still really nice.

4th June 2008. Easy drinking IPA. Nice fruity hops with a medium level of bitterness. Lighter palate than a lot of IPAs.

Pours a murky light tinged yellow producing a thick white cloud of heaven above. Aromas enlighten the nose tantalizing with citrusy fruit, caramel, pines, and some floral. Once it hits the tongue it leaves its mark with ample citrus, with a splash of pine. Almost like biting into some unknown fruit. Caramel peeks it self through down the line. Whilst the sip end, the bitter end doesn’t, just waiting for the next one.

Pours pale golden with monster head. Nice retention and great lacing. Nose is predictable... Citrus, pine, resin and dry hay. Flavor is pleasant. Orange peel, vegetable greens and roasty wood finish. Thin on the palate. Solid ipa, but not the revelation I was expecting

650 ml Bottle: Big head, strong hoppy aroma, bitter taste. I love amercian style IPA and Stone Brewing has to be one of the best.

Bottle from Cavie. "Why hello, dry hop. You seem to have overrun my aroma." A little lemon aroma as well. Taste is hoppy, but not as much as the aroma. Very citrusy. Lots of side tingle on the tongue.

This is a very solid, hoppy IPA. Generous hops on the aroma and in the flavor. Notes of pine and citrus in the aroma. The flavor and finish are also quite bitter and floral and not too sweet, with at most medium carbonation. I like the Ruination IPA more, but this is a good IPA.
