Sep 17, 2008 Pours a nice dark gold with a touch of amber. Small but lasting off white head. Big nose, sweet candied citrus, a little pine and bananas. OMG, beautiful. Big hop flavor but great balance, nice bitterness but not to over the top. I could drink a few of these.

Sep 16, 2008 On draft at Midtown bar in Harrisburg. Poured cloudy orangeish golden in color with a medium sized beige head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral, citrus and piney hops. Tastes of orange citrus, sweet malt, with a nice bittering hop taste which leads into the finish nicely. Great body and great hop flavor.

Sep 16, 2008 Pours a hazy orange, with an impressive white head leaving great lacing. An intense, wonderful aroma of hops, floral notes and citrus. Hop blast to start the taste balanced by a lingering mild sweetness. Basically, what any IPA lover would look for. An incredible beer by any measure, and one of my ";goto’s"; when I can’t decide on anything.

Sep 15, 2008 Pours a hazy orange, with a decent white head. Aroma is of bitter hops and floral notes. with hints of oranges. Taste of bitterness hits first, followed by a lingering sweetness that is damned delicious. Has the perfect amount of bite to make this enjoyable, but not overly bitter. Very good beer.

Sep 7, 2008 22oz Bottle. Golden color with a fluffy, white head that leaves Belgian lace on the inside of the glass. You can smell and taste the citrus from the abundant use of Centennial hops. A refreshing burst hits your mouth with the first sip due to the carbonation level and bitterness. The high hopping rate covers the high alcohol content (6.9% abv), but a bit of residual malt sweetness makes it through at the finish. Nothing complex here - just a straight forward, highly hopped, American IPA.

Sep 4, 2008 Updated: Sep 16, 2008Bottle. Pours slightly hazy gold with a hint of orange and a small but creamy white head. Nose is big on citrus - pineapple, grapefruit, orange all come through, sweet but clean. Taste starts off with clean, lightly sweet caramel malt and lightly astringent hops, with a finish that allows the fresh citrus to really shine, and a lighter than expected bitterness lingering on the palate. The overall result is an utterly fantastic IPA - not overpowering, refreshing, flavorful, and one of the most drinkable IPA’s I’ve ever had. Emphasizes the flavor of the hops, rather than just the bitterness. Superb balance.
