Pours a darker brown amber, clear, glowing with a big frothy light tan foam on top. Aroma is quite hoppy, peachy, citrus, some special malt. Flavor follows, very bitter for an amber, super hoppy, citrus fades under the bitterness, grapefruit, green hops, really swings it out of balance with the malt nearly into IPA territory, some glassy hard candy toasted sweet malt. Very sessionable, big hop flavor with lighter malt profile and quite drinkable at 4.4%. Medium/light bodied with lots of sharp fluffy carbonation, just slightly sticky but mostly a watery mild-ale type feel. Excellently crafted. Crit (2404), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 25, 2009 This beer was badass. Copper red with a HUGE off-white foamy head. It had a grassy hoppy smell with a good deal of grapefruit. Definitely a grassy, grapefruit taste with a crisp hoppy finish. This beer was the shit. SFLpunk (132), South Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2009 12oz brown glass pry-top bottle. Etched 07/07/09 around bottom.
Appearance: Rough pour turns up 1.5 fingers of tan creamy head that recedes at a moderate rate leaving substantial lacing. Slightly hazy amber color.
Nose: Big hop nose: citrus rules this beer and some fresh cut pine and green pine nettles.
Palate: Light- to medium-light-bodied. Turns somewhat watery quickly. Some light biscuit malt and some "flash-in-the-pan" citrus hop notes. Beer is light and quick, but packed with those oh-so-awesome Stone flavors.
Notes: A great sessionable beer. Best way I’ve heard it described is an "extreme session" beer. Light, but packed with good flavors and layers.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Pours a hazy dark amber. Flavor is nice, citrus hopy bitterness. Kinda reminds me of a less intense IPA. Overall a good brew, exactly what you should expect from a Stone beer. troopie (876), USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Draught. Deep amber with frothy white head. Citrusy and roasty aroma. Malt flavour, with hop, citrus bitterness balancing. Lasting hop finish. Actually tasted stronger than it is. This would make a good session beer.
